3 of us went to Sol for their $10 Christmas eve special. It was covered ribs with mashed potatoes and vegetables... the three of us got the same thing because we're unoriginal and cheap, and 1 had to be returned as it was actually still cold to the touch. Like cold.. not room temperature but not frozen... kind of like refrigerated but out of the fridge for 20 minutes type of cold. But it didn't taste like a heinous atrocity, no one got sick, and it was only $10 so probably worth it.

This is an excellent place to dine. We really enjoyed the view of the lake. Our waitress was very professional and prompt. The food preparation and taste was tops. It was a great evening.

Had their pizza from room service, was quite happy with it. Decided one night to go have dinner there, not knowing it was a more "upscale" experience. Right away we felt unwelcome as we were not dressed to the nines, albeit far from being dressed as a slob. Had an Italian dinner for 2. Priced high and very sub par, service was horrible and slow yet it was us and one other table of 2, our patron joining us has hair in her salad and at the time vegetarian yet it came heaped with bacon although she asked to have none on it. No sorrys, no discount, nothing. Will never return.

Horrible service! And food was overcooked! Made reservations for a Monday night for a birthday. There were only two other tables there at the time. It took forever to get our drinks, longer to order food, and even longer to get the food. When food started to arrive, one plate at a time sporadically (there were seven of us and 3 of us basically had the same order except for the sauce on the pasta) it arrived 1.5 hrs later and was the wrong orders and burnt! We actually walked out. Paid for our drinks and kids meals (which were also a joke) and refused to pay for overpriced overcooked food. And I have NEVER walked out before at any restaurant. Wont be going back!

I am not one to write reviews, but i really need to share my experience with this restaurant. I took family and friends for dinner and have been in this restaurant 2 years ago and had pretty good food and service. This visit was the exact opposite, first, waitress was horrible, could not get instructions clear without repeating, second for what the food was average in quality at best. I paid 175.00 for basically 2 appies, 4 meals, and each a drink, which included a 29.00 dollar bottle of wine. When meals came 2 where average, 2 where in my view where below average. When we brought it to the waitresses attention, it was discarded quickly and no solution was offered. So my experience was way below average and i do not recommend dinning here.
