We had originally headed out to another restaurant, but it was closed! However, the Blind Angler was a great alternative for our evening, as it turned out. They were actually fully reserved, but would accommodate us if we didn't mind being done within 75 minutes. We didn't have any problem with that if they didn't. The result was that we had attentive and quick service with a great meal to boot. We started off with calamari, which was tasty and tender, along with a choice of beer on tap (3 altogether). I had the daily special, which was wild coho with a citrus-based sauce on a bed of rice with asparagus spears and young carrots. My hubby had the chicken piccata with mashed potato and the same vegetables. The presentation of both meals was appealingly artistic in appearance. The fish was done perfectly (most people tend to overcook fish!), the chicken, which was liberally sprinkled with capers, was tender, and both meals were very tasty. We had no room for dessert! Total bill was just over $100 for the two of us.

Walked in and only one family there eating. Waitress said most all of other tables were reserved. We didn't want to sit in the middle. We were ready to leave when she said oh you can have this other table. After we ate the frozen fish & chips we left and there were only a handful of people in the restaurant. Not sure where all the reservations were!

Came by for dinner after a long day of wine tasting. As our last meal in the Okanagan, I was quite disappointed with the food and service. We ordered the blue iceberg salad with garlic prawn and the baby back ribs. The salad came out, and it was basically a lettuce cut in half with lots of dressing and bottled bacon bits. The garlic prawns...well they looked very pale. Think they forgot the garlic. The baby back ribs was cut up already, which I guess was convenient. But their wasn't much taste and the meat was not tender. The rice and veggies that came with it was under cooked and sprinkled with a lot of garlic. Guess that is where the garlic went. The total for the meal was over 48$ for two sub par dishes. We paid $60 at another restaurant and the quality of food (4 dishes) and detail to flavors were way higher. Service...well either than your basic hi and how many? We did not receive much service. I have no idea who are waitress was. The young girl who initially helped us, was not interested to be there or talk to anyone. No one checked with us about our food, or whether we wanted more water. The servers were more attentive to other tables. We felt like an after thought. Dessert was heavily marketed to the other tables, but not us. Overall, I appreciate the view but...definitely would not recommend the restaurant, especially for the price we paid.

Wish there was 0 stars. Ate there today, clump of hair in my food. Wasnt treated well at all. When I asked for a new plate because of the hair I received what looked like spit. Owner of the place was on the phone screaming at somebody. The lady with short black hair is under paid for sure. DO NOT EAT HERE. I am reporting this place to health and safety
