Sushi bar has gone totally down hill! Warm sushi when it's supposed to be cold. We called tonight to order. Apparently they have taken everything we like off menu. No cucumber sushi. No seafood tempura. No veggie. No nothing place is a dump! Alberni sushi has everything we like thank god!

Miso soup was delicious but we had trail mix on our sushi. Pick it all off! My daughter was upset that they changed their specialty sushi, Said she will never go back 😏

Deep fried cali roll tasted like the deep fried bananas they make... very disappointing. Was very good portion no doubt, but i don't think i have ever tasted a df cali that tasted like that. Staff was friendly, but dressed in casual clothing and not professional, but slack lounging clothing. both cook and cashier.. In the near future i hope this location takes a taste around other local sushi stops as this was a very unique taste i certainly will never stop for again. Other wise restaurant had a warm cozy feeling about it, just poor food.

Good sushi and bento box selection. Don't be fooled by the grungy exterior, the food is authentic and we would definitely come back.

The sushi here is awesome! The service is also very good. The atmosphere is nice and quiet!
