The staff was amazing. They are nice, friendly, and professional. The food was fresh. The flavor is not what I was expecting. I got the beef enchiladas and the meat tasted a lot like Mom's roast beef instead of Mexican beef. The black beans were great, though the rice was lacking flavor. I highly recommends the salsa verde.

My favourite place to get Mexican food. I think even better Tacofino. Everything is amazing but my favourite things are the fish tacos, pork tacos, shrimp tacos and tortilla soup. The shop is so cute and colourful too.

My lord. Did not expect this to be so freaking delicious! Fresh, homemade flavors. I had the coconut shrimp taco special, my lady got the tortilla soup. We will be back 100%

Good food and prices. Nice to see some unique options for Port Alberni.

Wow... not sure if I need to say much more lol This gem of a bistro is tucked away down in the Harbour Quay of Port Alberni. The locals told us about the taco shop and said MUST do , thus we did and I am so happy that we listened to them. I had a fish taco and a pork taco as I wanted to experience both. The tortilla was soft and warm, filled with generous portions of meat and ample fresh ingredients. The sauces added a perfect compliment to the dish and I enjoyed every single bite. The only disappointment for me was that it wasn't Thursday and the night they do once a week to serve the Baja Shrimp tacos. Looks like I will be going back on my next visit and make sure it is a Thursday :)
