Great toasted BLT and cabbage roll soup! Update: 2019/05/01 I brought my mom and dad to Boomerangs today. Amazing experience. I purchased the bacon Mac and cheese, my father got the kangaroo Burger with onion rings and my mom got fish and chips. While the fish and chips were not as good as normal, the kangaroo Burger was great, the fries were yummy, the onion rings were delicious, and my mac and cheese was out of this world! The service was perfection. I really enjoyed our waitress. Oh! And we got dessert! A very good cheesecake and a yummy turtle cheesecake. Pretty great.

Great service. Really good place to try something new. Slightly higher prices than I expected but we'll worth the money.

My son and I stopped here after picking something up in Port Alberni. Found it by searching vegetarian restaurants in Port Alberni. I am glad this place came up. Very cool and comfortable place. The food was very good at reasonable prices. We both had eggs Benedict, and they were good. I liked that you could order one, two or three eggs Benedict's, because I find 2 is too many for me. The coffee was good and only $2.25, which is cheap compared to most places. There was some Australian dishes, which was unique. There was some Australian art for sale that was very nice. We will be back. Highly recommend.
