Must have changed owners. We used to stop here with the kids for lunch years ago on our way out to the Shuswap. My food order was OK, my wife's fish tacos were 10" greasy deep fried wraps. She picked at the innards and I shared mine. Only one person on and doing double duty in the kitchen and serving people. Two different groups came in and didn't notice the seat yourself sign. After some time they turned and left. I hope they bring up the service and level of the food as I'd hate to see this old land mark go.

We went because my husband remembered it fondly- not a great plan! Very slow. My son waited 13 min to get his water refilled. The staff was friendly but not familiar with the menu. Other son ordered a plain cheese pizza and ended up with one with pesto on it - every 12 yr olds dream, not! Good milkshake but took forever to come. In spite of multiple mix ups, poor service, and long wait they still charged us full price. The couple beside up ordered and never did get theirs... when they reminded the server they were told their order never went in. They left.

It is hard to describe the Frontier Motel. The rooms are not on the level (its pretty hard to open the fridge door because of that). There is no power outlet, had to ask for an extension. Rooms can get pretty cold, but they are handing out heaters. The rooms are clean though and towels changed everyday. Service was good. They let us visit the room before booking in case we were not okay with the above facts. Ate at the restaurant for one breakfast and wasn't disappointed. Coffee was very good.

I am really surprised to so many bad reviews. We didn't have any phone service to look up reviews and just stopped on the way, it's next to the motel which did not look very promising, we got pizza, steak and egg. Both were HUGE and delicious, staff was friendly, wait was probably a bit long but it's not fast food.
