I've been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years. No matter what the occasion or time of day, it's been a staple for me and my family. Portions are usually large, food quality are usually fantastic. Over the past few years, quality of food has been deteriorating. Just had an early dinner last night and was disappointed. The curry brisket was starchy and the brisket was stringy and the rice was clumpy and dry. We also ordered plain noodles for my kids. Usually at other chinese restaurants, a single portion of noodles are more than enough for both kids. This time around, we had to order 2. I complained but they said that this was normal. I'm sad to say but because of this, no 9 will be just a memory from the past and I will not be dining here anymore.

No 9 restaurant has been around for 20 years.... They are open all the time...there has ben some minor Renovations over the years.... However the interior is showing signs of wear and tear. The service is pretty fast and the food quality is consistent. They only take cash or debit.... No credit cards.... There are better Chinese food places in Richmond.... However if it is 330am and you want some fried rice or noodles.No9 is your place....

This restaurant was recommended.by one of my friends, but I was extremely disappointed with the food and services. In the area where Asians are heavily populated, the food at this restaurant are definitely below standard. We ordered BBQ pork and BBQ duck, but the meats didn't have much BBQ sauce flavor. In addition, when I pointed out the dish was not served right, the waitress started arguing with me. Even after I quit arguing with her and asked her to leave our table alone, she still came back three times, trying to continue fighting. I have never seen a waitress acting this way. The service was definitely not acceptable!! I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Loved the variety, taste of the food served here. The quantity of food is also very good. Service is also fast.Have been many times there and would love to visit again. Just one suggestion, they should have space for strollers also.

We had a pleasant family dinner at this restaurant. The higher prices reflect the larger serving sizes, excellent flavours and good service. They had a huge selection of vegetarian meals. I just wish cash wasn't the only accepted method of payment. Will definitely dine here again.
