The. Best. Happy. Hour. In all of Vancouver, hands down. Oysters are fresh and always do delicious. The other items like the calamari, lobster rolls and fries are so tasty. To top it off, their happy hour is so affordable, so it’s great to meet up with friends and have great conversations with people. The service is always excellent and if you can, get a seat by the bar! The bartenders are AWESOME.

Everything here is good. Food, drinks, excellent. I only have one complaint, and that is happy hour. First off, it’s so unusual they are only on fro 4pm-6pm as opposed to 3pm-6pm. This is what really causes the hell to try and get a table because there’s just not enough time. And when you do finally get a table, the servers are so busy that they come around maybe 2-3 times in those 2 hours. They should start at 3pm and I bet it would be way less nuts. Also considering you can only order 6 oysters at a time, it almost feels that they purposely don’t come around so you can’t order. Too bad because the food is the best.

Some of the best seafood the city has to offer. The bar is also great as well. It can cost quite the penny if you really want to enjoy there. You have concierge and a taxi sitting outside of there. I don't know why but I am sure it is for loyal guests.

Been to Joe Fortes multiple times over the years. It is my go to happy hour place for buck a shuck. Compared to other $1 oysters restaurants, I find Joe Fortes has consistent quality of fresh oysters which never disappoints. My other favourite dishes on the happy hour menu are beef carpaccio and shrimp tempura!! If you don’t want to break the bank and is curious to try out this restaurant, I highly suggest going there for happy hour (everyday 4-6pm)

We were here for happy hour. We had to wait about 20 mins to get a table. It was really busy on a Sunday afternoon. The price is not expensive for the portion and quality. $1 oysters and sweet potato fries stood out for us. The lobster roll was alright. Could be tastier. The calamari looked good but was a little bland. The kids had fish and chips and pasta from the kids menu. The portions were huge! Service was from the hostess was great. Less so for the wait staff.
