This local trendy restaurant has wonderful Indian/French inspired seafood cuisine. We had the seafood hot pot, which was spectacular and definitely plenty enough to share. Started off with the chowder which was very tasty, plus a large salad and we still ended up with left overs. Unlike a few reviews our server was great, very helpful, her recommendations were spot on. Reasonable prices in our opinion. If you love seafood, it's worth trying.

I can honestly say that Fishhook served me one of the tastiest and well put together meals I have ever had yesterday for lunch. I'm a foodie and have lived in Toronto and Melbourne both great cities for food. Fishhook is well worth the value for $20 I enjoyed a large seared tuna on rice with so many wonderful tasting sauces and fresh veggies and herbs. I wish I could leave 6 stars. I highly recommend you go in for a bite to eat sooner than later.

I had the Cobb salad type thing on the fold up menu. It was expensive at $21 but without a doubt worth it. It had a generous amount of Salmon and shrimp plus a perfectly cooked hard-boiled egg. Beer taps tasted clean when I visited; drink prices are very competitive with bombers of beer at $9 - might be the cheapest in town! I will definitely be back.

I was excited to come across Fishhook and had a great meal. The mussels were lovely, very fresh and the indian fusion an interesting take with great flavors. Staff were friendly and helpful and there are gluten free options which is a bonus. Interesting menu selection and fresh fish, well worth a visit.

This place was an unexpected open faced sandwich surprise of awesomeness. The menu is unique and mouthwatering and they have a lot of gluten free options, which always makes eating somewhere way more exciting. I enjoyed this place so much that I think about going back to Victoria just to eat here. No joke.
