Wow this place is a gem! If you like tucked away intimate settings with very soft lighting this is the spot! Beautiful brick walls and dark wood make the space seem larger than it is and very cozy. The beer was great and the appetizers were good.

Looking for a place that's got everything one could dream of? Check The Mint out! They have a great fusion menu, a well stocked bar with solid bar service and an array of live nights throughout each month for the public to enjoy. Every Monday they host an open mic night. It is run by two very talented individuals and offers a space of complete acceptance to all who come on stage to perform or who sit in the audience to support. From spoken word to musical acts, to rapping and even drag performances, The Mint hosts one of best Monday evenings in Greater Victoria

The Mint is a classic Victoria date spot. Great ambiance and seating options for small to large groups. The menu at The Mint is a unique mix of Asian fare and share plates with a solid selection of cheeses and meats which pair well with the cocktails. As an aside, they appear to be experimenting with tiki drinks, which we sampled when there last. While they were quite tasty, not serving them in tiki glasses should be a crime. Don't let it stop you from ordering them, mind.

Love the food here, their tofu coconut main is probably the best tofu dish I have ever had. My date had a seafood main with prawns and that was also outstanding. Great vibe inside, the service was a little inconsistent, not sure what was going on, if they were short staffed or not? We LOVED it there but maybe a little more management presence wouldn't go astray? Will try again!

LOVE the mint, don’t get me wrong. The open mic night is amazing. The waitress I had was a total nightmare, she added things to my bill which were NOT mine. When I asked her why they were on my bill, she said I had ordered them, but I knew I hadn’t. She refused to take them off my bill and when I asked her to speak to a manager she rolled her eyes and said no. So as a good patron, I paid my bill and left. But I felt I needed to reach out somehow, which ideally wouldn’t be through an online platform, so the manager knows what happening. I felt I had no choice but to give one star because I was exponentially overcharged and wasn’t allowed to speak with a manager.
