This is a very good Korean restaurant with an assortment of authentic items on the menu. I had the Ojingeo Bokkeum (Spicy Squid on a sizzling plate) It's so spicy I drank a pitcher of water. It comes with spicy appetizers and rice. It's a little bit pricey but well worth it.

Could not find much meat in the Kamjatang pork bone soup. Looks like they ripped off most of the meat from the bones then served customer the bones. That's what I got for $16. And the Jjajangmyun pork noodle dish. Had only about 4-5 small pieces of pork for $13. I felt like I was cheated. Waitress was very nice though. Had to give her a small tip.

Disappointed. Would not recommend. It saddens me to write this review because my family and I have been dining here for 9 years, and the restaurant has always had good quality food and service. It was even fine when I visited in December last year. However, the quality dropped drastically when my mom and I went yesterday. (Note: everything I am going to point out below is in comparison to what the restaurant used to offer) [Food] The food was very disappointing. I almost always order the seafood noodle soup (N25 on the menu) so I was shocked to find out that there was barely ANY soup. The soup was not even filled to half of the bowl. The shrimps were very overcooked and not fresh. They also did not provide a plate to let me put the shells like they used to do. Similar thing happened to my mom's soup. It was literally just stirr-fried food immersed in a pool of soya sauce and MSG-like stuff. This morning my mom's stomach was very upset and she had to go to the washroom several times. We also ordered a plate of fried fish cakes from their new menu. It was very bland and moist, not appetizing or fresh at all. What was even worse was, after the meal, we were really thirsty and had some redness on the face. [Service] Unlike every visit we've had before, the server gave us water without a word and did not ask if we wanted hot tea. And after food had been served, they did not come to check up on us until we were almost done with our food, might as well just never came to ask. Also, they have replaced the typical stainless steel chopsticks for Korean cuisine with disposable bamboo ones. [Price] Definitly a rip-off for the drop in the quality of food and service. A bowl of noodle soup that was not even half-filled, a soup with rice on the side and their fried fish cakes came to around $50. Honestly I feel a bit betrayed by what we experienced yesterday. We had been customers for almost a decade and yet it seems like they don't care about the food anymore. I used to bring my friends here and they loved it. But now I am even ashamed for visitors of Victoria to know that this restaurant even exists. It is going to take a lot to convince me to give them a second chance.
