This was our second time to eat at Jan's. I had a small clam chowder and the two piece fish and chips. Hubs had the prosciutto wrapped scallops and the two piece fish and chips. I also had a classic Caesar, which was very good. The chowder was nice, with plenty of clams and some veggies, but not full of potatoes. The scallops were also very good. Hubs really likes the sauces they come in. Our fish was crispy on the outside and flaky inside. The fries are awesome, but then I really like potatoes! Hubs finished his meal with just one scallop left. I brought home chowder, a piece of fish, and most of the fries (chips). They are open daily now and even serve breakfast. Both times we've been here have been late afternoon when they aren't busy and we've had delicious food and great service. Lots of gluten free options, too.

An absolutely delicious meal and view. The day was perfect and the location by the waterfront was stunning. We had prompt service and one of my favorite four winds beers was on tap so I ordered that immediately along with the yam fries and calamari to start. We had a number of dishes to share and they were all great. Highly recommended.

Ordered appetizers and sangria, on the patio. After our first order of apps the waitresses attitude changed from friendly to couldn't care less. It was a chilly night and a man came out from the restaurant and gave every table blankets, except ours. Also noticed everyone but us received complimentary bread - even if other tables ordered appetizers too. After we placed the second order the waitress barely checked in. And to top it all off, at the end of our meal we noticed a hair. It was NOT ours. When the waitress came back and asked us if we were done, she took away our plate so fast we couldn't even point out the hair. All throughout the meal she had such a bad attitude. This visit didn't leave us feeling like we were welcome. Will not be returning.

We stopped here on a side trip and it did NOT disappoint! The staff was fabulous from seating, to food to friendliness! There was a great young gentleman who helped to serve us and he was a joy to talk to. Also love when the kitchen is open & the food was so delicious-hope to return soon

A fun ocean view restaurant with great Gluten Free options. With breakfast served until 14:00 on weekends, this place is perfect for any meal of the day. If you're hungry in White Rock you should eat here.
