I have been to Chiba Japan and other trendy sushi spot. Shochiku is very very good, the sushi chef was very cool and the cashier who speaks Japanese was also very cool. The fish was very fresh and wasabi was authentic and real, I am very impressed. Not cheap but u get what u pay for with cheap sushi. A friend of mine also has recommended this place to me last year. Glad I finally came and definitely will refer to more friends. Thumbs up.

On the way home to USA ,we stumbled upon this sushi restaurant in white rock. It was one of those moments where a fluke choice led to a fantastic sushi experience. The waiteress was unbelievably helpful suggesting the sushi combo and dinner box are the good value meals. The alcohol was the least expensive and same quality as most restaurants I frequent in USA. . The sushi and all selections were pretty good quality and much more reasonably priced than closer to the city. My kids love the taste. Our whole family really enjoyed the foods here and had the wonderful experience.

I'm not a sashimi person, but my wife is. I bought this for her and she loves it! I even tried my first salmon egg from here. Very fresh. Good taste for the special roll. It is worthwhile to wait here for some more time because it is fresh made.

I only go here on the lunch break and The lunch box is a real valued selection to try. Very happy for the fresh sushi and consistent foods.

I typically order from here through Doordash because the delivery fee is cheap. I feel like the quality and way they make it is getting worse every time and I won't be ordering again. This time i discovered a hair in my food. Everything was rushed and sloppy. Portions are tiny even though I paid extra for the "bigger" dynamite rolls. They never have brown or black rice even though they advertise it. It also takes a hella long time to make and get to me, to the point where my dasher was waiting outside getting coffee. For only 1 simple sushi combo. Sorry, for the $32 I paid, not worth.
