Fantastic experience. Felt transported out of Winnipeg and into a fine dining meal anywhere in the world. Local ingredients, student run restaurant with attentive service and delicious food. Highly recommend. From the amuse bouche to the sweets with the bill, nothing was missed!

Students under expert instructors prepare and serve high-end cuisine, wine and cocktails for much less than at a private restaurant. A beautiful venue in a historic bank. Redolent of marble, lofty Corinthian columns, a well-stocked bar and a beautiful open kitchen where you can view food prep! The menu and seating availability changes often, consult the website calendar or call to plan your visit.

The food was good and the students were eager. It would have gotten a higher rating if the service had been better. They were incredibly slow, didn't fulfill simple requests in a timely manner. They didn't know when to bring out the wine and left us sitting there for a while. Three of us ordered crepe Suzette. Two of them came out fine. The third was a mess! It was torn and looked like slop on a plate. Then came the cheque: the server had no idea how to calculate how to split up 2 bottles of wine over 5 bills/6 people. They should know how to do simple math. They couldn't figure it out! Where is a supervisor to oversee and help them? As a result, a person in our party got overcharged.
