Diner with a retro/nostalgia feel. Feel like you've stepped back in time to a 50s style checkered diner with music and adverts placed around to keep you immersed while there. The food is home made and good quality for an average price for what you get. Often there are daily specials which offer a great value and will include a small dessert for something sweet to complete the meal. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. Located at the end of the hotel and easily accessed via the highway, if you're driving through or by Sussex and looking for a place to eat, it's worth the small detour to get some dinner or a quick lunch at JJ's.

Good food, good prices. Burgers are some of my favorite around. Service was also very good, and there was a large menu selection to choose from. Breakfast menu is very good, as is the main one. There's a nice retro vibe, with nostalgia pieces all around. Good for large groups too, I think. I saw a couple in the there.

Solid Canadiana Diner Offering if you are in the Sussex area. Prices are reasonable. The food is good quality but it is not in the gourmet or interesting realm. Facilities are well maintained and clean. It is my go to restaurant in Sussex and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for value and quality diner food.

Good but pricey for what you get. It used to be way better.
