Average taste and a huge ripoff if you don't ask for prices first, in case it's not on the menu. I ordered very simple, cheese only enchiladas and they charged almost 5 CA $ for side rice and 5 CA $ for side beans which usually are included anywhere in Mexico, United States or Canada. Exorbitant price for 3 small enchiladas only, almost 20 CA $. I learned my lesson to never go back there, and you have been warned.

Great little hole in the wall restaurant. Best Mexican food in the province. Fun, bright decor, friendly service, and tasty food.

I wanted to really love this place. My first experience here was great, I enjoyed the food. The service was good - a little slow. But I was prepared to put this restaurant on my list of likes for the Saint John region. However, we called for take out one evening and they wouldn’t take our order because they were “too busy”. That’s a little ridiculous. Had we come to the restaurant and waited to be seated, they would have taken our order and we would have eaten. But they wouldn’t do a take out order for us. Turning away paying customers.... I will not go back. I will not recommend.

The ambience is quite decent, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the food, and the seating is intimate. I went with four other friends for a dinner on a weekday and my only real gripe was that it was rather lonely in there. We went around 7-8PM. Some other places nearby were apparently more popular at that time. The food was what I would call efficient Mexican -- decent but unremarkable. I would like to see them serving complimentary fresh chips and salsa though. And if they do, I will upgrade my review to five stars, strictly within the context of latin American options in Saint John.
