It felt bare and the price was a bit on the high side for the lack of amenities and view the place had. It doesn't help that it was too far off from the road. It was okay for fish and chips. Nothing fancy.

While visiting Newfoundland my wife and I were lucky enough to hear about Beach Fish & Chips. It is off the beaten path so for visitors like us we would never have found it with out directions from a local. I am not a huge fish & chips fan but my wife, who spent several years growing up in Newfoundland and who's mother was born and raised in Newfoundland, is. My wife says that the fish and chips were without question the best she has ever had. I agree, they were the best I have ever had as well but that' s not saying much. The batter is the lightest you will ever have. This is a real family place but the good news is you can get a beer, not sure about wine but then who drinks wine with fish and chips? The better news is it is overlooking the water. Beautiful view, nice quiet surroundings and the BEST fish & chips EVER!

A destination point for every visit to NL. The light and crispy batter makes these some of the best fish 'n' chips ever!! And the view! (Well, when the weather is cooperating...).

Excellent fish and chips. Very fresh fish and a very light batter. The view is great and the place is clean and seems to be recently renovated. Had great friendly service. It was worth the drive for the food and the scenery!
