Absolutely wonderful. Dining was superb. Seafood chowder is the best I've ever had. Lamb was perfect. Salmon a bit overcooked. Creme brulee was to die for. Highly recommend.

We had just picked this place at random for one night through our cape breton excursion.... and wow so impressed. Super super nice people, feels like home. The food was spectacular. Very high quality dishes. Wish we could come back if we lived a little closer!

Great room. Mini fridge. Good a/c. Microwave. Coffee machine. Comfy beds. Notty pine for days! Menu looks good but restaurant closed at 8pm

We loved the quaintness of St. Peters and the beautiful view from our room of the canal. However, the service we received at the inn was sub-par, I'm sure due in part to the lack of competition in the area. The staff member at the front desk was rude when we asked if we could check in at 1:30pm instead of 2pm. My husband, who speaks English as a second language, was asked to repeat himself no less than 10 times over the phone for his name and phone number, again rudely and loudly. We did not leave feeling our money/business was appreciated, and for that reason I feel that I am generous in giving the Bras D'or Lakes Inn a 3-star rating.
