Very disappointed in hearing that my sister in law, my niece, and service dog were denied entry into the New Minas restaurant. In this day and age there are many reasons for a service dog to accompany people. With the number of Canadaian military people or those who service the military, suffer from PTSD; people need to be educated on the benefits that these people who suffer with this terrible disease receive by having a service dog. It is a shame still in 2018 that people have to be discriminated against because of a lack of knowledge in this area. Just because you can't see it does not mean the disease doesn't exist. And for the manager of the establish not to make a simple apology for a "misunderstanding" is absolutely ludicrous. The media should have taken this as golden opportunity to educate people on benefits that service dogs provide instead of promoting the restaurant of doing no wrong.

Usually Cora's is exceptional. However we arrived to a later lunch at this location. Food was delicious, service was ok.. No offers for refill on coffee, tea... My coffee was burnt tasting, but not that I bothered to complain about. I guess my other Cora's in HRM have me spoiled...

Arrived and waited to be seated. Ordered beverages and food came quickly. Food was good. Service was good, however, constantly came wanting to take our plates - still eating. Not sure what was going on, there was no line up and lots of empty tables but felt like they were trying to turn them over. Asked three times if they could take our dishes and we were still eating. Other than that food was great.

amazing food..the food was so good. The service not so great ,forgot our coffee. i found out they pool their tips so you then get so so service. maybe instead of pooling tips let the girls keep what they deserve. The cooks should never have girls tips. for a expensive breakfast which was so good would have been better with better sevice..
