Cassandra, Waitress extraordinaire served us on our first visit to the shoe shop. Pleasant, courteous, big smile and very helpful in our choices of food and drink. She is obviously a great candidate for management. The manager behind the bar was a conundrum to say the very least. My wife and I, wanting a romantic dinner had turned off the somewhat bothersome lights above us to have some privacy. Without asking or giving us any indication, the acting manager stomped right over and turned the lights back on , embarrassing the both of us in front of everyone. All she had to do was ask. I am the owner of Reliable Computer Services and King Street Cafe. In Bridgewater N.S. . ANY staff working for me would be fired on the spot for such conduct. Thank you Cassandra for saving the day. WENT IN LOOKING FOR SHOES. Was extremely disappointed with their shoe selection but overall had a really fun time drinking tasty drinks and eating delicious food which made me forget all about not having any shoes on which the server commented on because I was only wearing socks and there was snow all over outside but that was alright I guess. GREAT FOOD BUT NO SHOES HERE AT ALL

The atmosphere is always fun, the staff were great and the food delicious. Service was a bit slow considering it wasn't busy, but we still got to our show on time.

Had the worst dining experience I've ever had. While we were given discounts, it was unfortunately too little too late. Food was either wrong, cold, or inedible. Drink menu was bland, just like the food. We waited 2 hrs for our food. The head chef had to be called in to remedy the situation, but again, too little, too late. Honestly with the new management (Trailer Park Boys) I see this place going the same way as Bubbles Mansion. Sad to see a Halifax staple fall apart this badly.
