if you are a self proclaimed carnivore this is the place for you. Absolutely delicious. Started with the bone marrow, delicious. Had the duck as a main, delicious. Ended the meal with a boozy milk shake and not to my surprise...delicious! Service was very attentive (was only three tables) but even if the service wasn't as great as it was I would still be giving a great review because the food garnered it. It is a tad expensive, for two people sharing a starter and desert ,with drinks and tip it was around $120, Well worth it in my opinion. Will definitely be back and recommend!

Meals unlike anything you'll find in the city in both creativeness and quality. The charcuterie is interesting, made in-house, and absolutely delicious. Server was attentive and very helpful when making the nearly impossible choice of what to eat (because everything sounded so good). A great place for a fancy night out to treat yourself to a new food experience.

Service was great, atmosphere was great. Food was so so. I was expecting the meat to have a little more spice/ flavour, however; if I didn't hear such high reviews about this place beforehand, maybe I wouldn't have felt let down. I would definately try again because this restaurant is one of a kind in Halifax.

This was our first visit. All the food we had was prepared to the highest quality and sourced locally. Great local and regional craft beers and wines. The staff was top notch and it's great to see the chef come out of the kitchen to look around the from of the house.

Watch out, mouse at the dinning area! It stayed there all the time we had dinner, running from one table to the other. The server was aware of it, said it was usually there and that he was sorry. The food was good but the mouse experience didn't make of it the best dinning experience.
