I remember when Olivea opened some several years ago. It was a great improvement over the previous tenant and is still doing very well today in its great location kiddy corner to City Hall. The two of us arrived early Friday evening without a reservation but a table was cleared and we soon sat down. The Olivea has both a nice menu and wines list. We soon had our order in and very quickly had our two glasses of a Sicilian red and Australian white. The red had a great nose and we savoured both over the period of our dinner. Our shared appetizer was calamari with a very delicate taste and texture. Our mains were a savoury pasta and a delicious salad with lots of texture. Our server was very efficient but seemed after a while to be quite pushy in clearing out our appetizer and bringing us the main courses. It was quite the opposite when it took a long time to receive and pay our bill.

Excellent food, service and value. Went for a business lunch. It got a little loud but we could still hear each other. I had a roast beef sandwich which was delicious. Soup was very good as well. Will go again the next time I'm in Kingston.

Hands down one of the best culinary experiences to be had in Kingston. The food is divine! The wine list is extensive! The daily specials are unique and beautiful; the desserts pure heaven. Can't rave about this place enough! Word to the wise - it's not that large so seating is at a premium. Making reservations is advisable.

The food was amazing. Nice cozy restaurant with excellent customer service. Outdoor patio in the summer. Jazz night is wonderful and absolutely perfect if your looking for a romantic atmosphere. I've never had less than a 5 star experience here.

Our go-to restaurant when we are visiting Kingston. Friendly staff, excellent wine list, amazing menu! The Creme Brulee for dessert is one of the best! Daily specials are always worth trying out. Small restaurant so make reservations. We always go early to avoid the crowding and the noise.
