Good place to stop for a pizza or a regular breakfast spot. The servers are good and the food is reasonable and well priced. The place is filled with local regulars who enjoy the lunch special from what I gather, and I personally love the feel of a restaurant where people meet, and I feel that this is that type of spot. I order pizza from them and havn't been disappointed. As well sometimes go get breakfast, since its quick, and friendly.

Living in the area, we've had occasion to visit the Gourmet on numerous occasions for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Parking is never a problem, but watch that first step in or out...have seen more than one stumble at it for some reason. Inside the decor is a bit tired looking and in need of updating, but otherwise comfortable enough. Traditional breakfasts are all good, and I've enjoyed the sandwiches I've had. Pizza is very good. Service has always been fast enough, and friendly.

The size of the portions. The great prices and the fast and freindly service. This restaurant has something for everyone. Children Adults Handicap accessible. The food is homemade and the restaurant has been run by the same family for years. Huge portions cheap prices excellent food. Don't be scared to ask for a doggy bag you just might need one. A +++++.

We've been to the Gourmet many times and never had a bad experience yet! The staff is fast and efficient, friendly and considerate. The food is amazing and the pizza is the best in town!
