I was excited to see a seafood place had opened downtown, so convinced my husband to take a chance on a hotel restaurant. While the speed of service was fine, and the server suitably attentive, we were not pleased with the food here. The crab cake we ordered for a starter could have been delicious (it was crispy on the outside and flaky inside), if not for the fact that it was downright cold in the middle, like it had just come out of the fridge. My husband's fish and chips were a good portion size, but the fish was very greasy, like the fryer temperature wasn't quite high enough. I ordered the scallop linguine, and received just four small scallops on a plate that cost $18. My first choice of the lobster ravioli, which I had seen on their menu online, was stroked out with marker on their menu. Our server was very apologetic about our experience, and removed the crab cake from our bill, which was appreciated. Honestly, I'm just not sure that this restaurant gets enough traffic to warrant focusing on seafood. Maybe some changes to the menu would improve the dining experience here, but at any rate, we unfortunately will not be returning.

Tried to go to their brunch first time to discover it was shutting down at 1 PM which is an absurd time for brunch to end given that most churches are getting out before that. Tried to get in a second time to discover that it’s not even a brunch contrary to advertising it’s just a breakfast buffet and for some reason they closed at now 11 AM. Why not just keep serving food? Who is the target market of a breakfast on the weekend that is done service by 11? Fool me once shame on you… You know the rest. Will not try again

Pros Pretty good considering the hotel it is in Fast service Decently tasty food Cons Expensive for what it is --- I ordered the clam chowder and seafood risotto. The clam chowder was quite good. I was expecting a ski lodge clam chowder with large, undercooked potatoes. Instead, I got a proper New England clam chowder with appropriately cut ingredients. This delightful appetizer set me up for some disappointment on the entrée. Which, before I get to, I'd like to comment on how fast the service was. I have recently been to McDonalds and waited longer for my mcnuggets than I waited for any given peice of this meal. I had to ask for more water, but when I did, it came very quickly. Now the entree, which was resotto or as they might have called it creamy rice. It was a little too aldente for me to think of it as risotto, but maybe that is a matter of taste. The texture of the inside vs the outside gave the feeling that my seafood dish had been sitting under I've of those heat lamps you see at a buffet. By and large, there isn't much of a reason not to be happy, even the seafood creamy rice was pretty good, until the bill comes. Now it isn't the worst sticker shock, you know that being at a hotel means some guarantee of overpriced food, but still it is nice to get what you pay for and dropping $46 with tax and tip for the above wouldn't be my first choice.
