Some reviews for this place are really quite exuberantly glowing. I am never in Barrie. Maybe there's not much to choose from. Lunch was definitely good: a nice little grilled chicken and Brie sandwich. I enjoyed it. The server was pleasant. It was good, but over-the-moon fabulous? No. Finally got out here for a "coffee" with a friend. Had the "french toast" which was more like a divine banana bread. Super cute place, great service and busy!

Went there this past weekend and its a gem! The customer service was different and fluid and the environment was very, just be you-ish, where you felt no pressure. The art was quite eye catching. They had vegan options which was great because my best friend was vegan. Their fresh options too were great, I guess this is what makes places like this stand out from your regular chain restaurant. Hopefully I can visit again, would highly recommend if you want new fresh taste and a unique lovely vibe.

A shining light in a dismal town. This place had a wonderfully Bohemian feel with friendly, thoughtful staff, delicious food and yes..a second cup of coffee without even asking. Thanks for making my day. We liked it so much that we had both breakfast and lunch there.

The cute little cafe in Barrie near the bus station, a short walk from the Bay. I was visiting Barrie for the weekend. The lazy tulip Cafe was recommended by Google map. I had soup salad and coffee, the soup was delicious the salad was fresh. I had the pear salad and the coffee was amazing, prices are fair. The manager, very friendly and attentive
