Do not recommend this east side Mario's at all. Service is really bad. They run out of soup and bread at 4pm. The manager Jeff that day could care less of what was going on. The worst experience at a east side Mario's ever. The sangria was the best part of the experience. Needless to say won't be back. $19.99 for pasta. What a joke. I'll make it at home next time.

Take out was pretty sad... garden salad nothing but wilted iceberg lettuce... for $10.99?? pizza was sloppily put together and soggy. Bread sticks just floppy chunks of dough. Overall food quality poor. Waste of money.

Went into restaurant tonight with my significant other while it was busy with a wait. We expected to wait because it was obvious the restaurant was packed. What we didn't expect was to be completely ignored by all staff and have them select groups before us to go on the waiting list. There was three people at the front that noticed us and yet no service. I have been going to this location once a month since its been open and I will not be back. I'll take the extra ride to the south end location.

My wife and daughter and I visited East sides last night around 6:30pm, Saturday night . There was still parking available, inside there was a bit of a lineup but amazingly were seated in about 2 minutes. The place was packed and had a great atmosphere, the Sens game was playing on the TV screens. Our waiter showed up immediately . Drinks served in about 3 minutes, order taken. Our salads and bread came before I could finish my first drink, the main course showed up before we finished the salads! The chicken tetrazini was awesome, just like the good old days 20 years ago. The wife had chicken parmagan with veggies, which she shared with our infant daughter. The chicken parm was amazing as well, and our daughter gobbled up the fresh steamed veggies with delight! As good as a home cooked meal! Our waiter was a gem. Fast, courteous, accurate witty and funny. This was the best dining experience we've had in a long time and this will be our date night spot going forward! There are some truly nasty reviews below, I can't see them being accurate. This place was lightening fast, on the busiest night of the week, packed! I've never seen so many staff buzzing around, on the ball, many many happy customers coming and going . I highly recommend this place and I'd be the first to tell you otherwise if it wasn't great. :-)
