Service: Excellent -- they are very friendly & polite, very attentive and quick. Food: Outstanding -- hot, fresh, tastes delicious and great presentation Value: Very good value, fresh and healthy food options at a very reasonable price. Ambiance: Warm & cozy Family-friendly: we go here with our toddler, they have highchairs, as well as a kids menu and smaller kid-size cutlery/dishes. The Chicken Teriyaki on the kids menu is delicious and is a generous portion of white chicken breast chunks, rice and veggies, and comes with a scoop of ice cream for dessert. Its a big portion for a toddler so we always end up sharing.

We had a bit of a mixed experience here. We ordered spicy California roll, dynamite roll, and kamikaze roll. The dynamite roll was one of the best ones I've had. I was really impressed. The spicy California roll was pretty standard and good, I was happy with it. The kamikaze roll was horrible. It was really fishy tasting and make me feel sick immediately. I have never had this kind of experience with sushi before. The staff are nice and attentive. The ambiance is lovely. I'll probably give it another try at some point.

5 stars come rarely for Sushi joints from me, but as this place is in Brampton, it imediately has a one up. We went as a group of 5 last night (make reservations), and they were able to accommodate us with no issues. The service was great, the food was fantastic! Quality wise, you can definitely tell the rolls, sashimi and sushi are all made to order. The rice is always warm, and the texture of the fish is great. This isn't an "all you can eat" place, so expect to pay for quality. Keep an eye on what you're ordering or the prices will add up quickly. For myself, it is well worth going to Toshi Japanese Restaurant. See you in a few months!

This place has really great sushi! However, the server did not know what gluten is. She had assured me that the miso soup was gluten free, but then later came back and removed it, saying it was not. Thankfully I had not started it yet. If you have an allergy, stick with items you know are safe.
