Arabesque is one of the the only restaurants offering Middle Eastern food in the Kitchen Waterloo area that I am aware of. The picture is of their Moe plate with a variety of grilled kebabs, salads, sauces and hummus. All of these are also available for take-out along with desserts including baklava. If I could get up early enough I would love to try their breakfast foul which I have it had since I was in Cairo. A great place to eat delicious food. No alcoholic drinks.

I was organizing an celebration for my lab here, and made a reservation for 10 people for a Friday evening. Upon arriving, they had not written down the reservation. We were lucky enough that they were in a lull and could seat us, but they were quite busy for the rest of the night so i don't expect that will be the case most of the time. They were quite busy for most of the time we were there, and the service suffered because of it. Both the time it took the servers to take our order and the time it took to get the order (total of about 80 min). The food was really good. Three of the party members are Saudi Arabian, and they really liked the food. My only gripe with the menu is the lack of plant based options. I didn't ask for substitutions, but there was only one entree without meats or dairy. I might be being harsh with my rating because the size of my party made it difficult to handle all of us, but the loosing of the reservation upset me.

Always clean, well priced and delicious food! A consistent and enjoyable restaurant. Love their generous helpings and the option to pick things up to go. Their hummus is exceptional.

What a great place. The food is absolutely delicious and very fresh tasting. Service is decent. High recommend the shawarma. They recently raised their prices I believe and a dinner plate is going to cost you $20, but each bite is definitely tasty. Their hummus are garlic sauce are the best I've had.

Arabesque is the most wonderful restaurant in all of Waterloo Region! INCREDIBLE fresh food all the time, dazzling flavours which explode in your mouth, and wonderful, wonderful staff! PLEASE help them out right now, as business will be hurt by the closing of the Victoria Street bridge for the next 10 months. An easy detour across Frederick St. and up Bruce St. gets you there in no time SO worth any small delay to experience the food sensations at Arabesque! YUM!
