There aren't too many times when a meal leaves me without too many descriptors. The food was delectable, (we've been talking about it for the past hour). The service was amazing, and the space was extremely impressive. While tonight was my first visit to The Gables I hope that it will not be the last. The soup of the day was delicious (description from the member of our party to have it). The escargot was extremely flavourful. We had the duck, the schnitzel, and the pasta with shrimp at our table. All were cooked perfectly and were served impeccably. I do hope that they open for the 2018 season and I look forward to my next meal.

Gorgeous setting, great tasting food but skimpy protein portions for Toronto prices. Unhelpful with big group :( Go on your own as couples.

Owners prepare and serve excellent food themselves and the restaurant is beautiful. Our meal included several vegetables from their own garden. A lovely experience!
