Wonderful experience! Great view! Superb food and service! Delicious bistro fare with great selection of entrees, beer, and wine. We were a party of eight with four small children and the staff went out of their way to help us out, bringing toys for the kids, and creating kid-friendly meals. But unlike other kid-friendly places, the adult fare was superb. I can't wait to go again!

Our party of 6 dropped in by boat on Wednesday for lunch. Geoff (the owner and our server) was very knowledgeable and friendly (and even funny in response to our banter). Several regional craft beers were available and a special recipe Bloody Caesar was a hit. The burgers and vegetable panini were very tasty. Great view from the covered / open terrace onto the lake. This is a "tip free" restaurant. Jeff took the time to explain the reasoning behind this and how it is working for him and other establishments that have adopted this approach. We will certainly be returning!

We dined at the Lantern Saturday afternoon (29Jul17) and enjoyed the casual food and inspired selections of beer while taking a break from our bike ride. On the other hand, we were frustrated by the disparaging attitude of the host when he spoke to us. The terrance was almost empty and we parked our bikes in an unused area, out of the way and against a wall. The host was rude and condescending. We have eaten at Harbour Town before, enjoying the experience, parking our bikes where we parked them again this time, close at hand and safe from theft. It is not acceptable to be spoken to in this manner.

Really great food and view. This restaurant embraces the no tip policy. Delicious local ingredients used is all meals. The only down side was the flies in the vermouth.

Always spot on, consistent excellent service, food, drink, experience! My mission is to get through the entire menu. Very accommodating accordingly to your taste and preferences. A must try! Highly recommend.
