I arrived into the café today for a coffee and a sandwich. Went to the counter to order, staff offered me a cup for the coffee and told me she would be with me in a moment. Waited and no sign. I picked up a menus. Still no sign of staff. Behind me there was a staff member sitting with someone, chatting. No sign of help. It was not busy. Two tables were occupied and served. Still no service. Another customer came in, ordered at the counter and still no server over to ask what I wished to order. Finally went to the counter to pay for the coffee and the only response I received " I was going to get to you". This is the second time I have been here since the new owners took over. The first visit was "ok" but I am sad to say I will not be back. When it was Katies, service was good and you did not mind waiting as the staff was very pleasant and at least made you feel like you had not been forgotten. The glib response at the end of the visit has sealed the deal for me. I will not be back.

They got me breakfast sandwiches and coffee to go in the morning and a small lobster bisque with a cranberry chicken and brie Panini. Reasonable prices, especially considering the quality of food. Very fresh ingredients!
