Nikos Restaurant

I love this place! I've been here a few times and I love the staff! Always so friendly. Prompt service, great prices, and holy cow, the portions are HUGE!!!! I drive 20 minutes to come here to eat because it's so worth it.

Just had our first visit to Nikos. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. The restaurant was neat, clean and well lit. The food was great. The fish dinner was hot and very good. The wrap was very good as well and so big I couldn't eat it all. Can't wait to go back.

Food was good, large portions. Friendly staff and clean atmosphere.

If I could rate a big fat zero I would! My poutine had just a sprinkle of cheese on top, and the fries were double fried cardboard sticks. My husband ordered the perch and received 3 tiny pieces full of bones! A handful if that of also re-fried fries and a whopping 2 cups of boiled baby carrots! Really...no coleslaw? His meal came with a dessert of which were we told was a choice of their spectacular homemade selection. This ended up being runny chocolate slop with a pea size amount of edible oil, not whipped cream, on top. I told the server we weren't exactly pleased with the meal and why, she said oh well let them know when you pay...?? Um, isn't that your job to "service" your customers. I spoke to who seemed to be the manager and his only justification was the farmers that come in love their food. No apology, just excuses, and no compensation for our meals we couldn't even eat. Save yourself the money and disgust and stay away from here! *********UPDATE********* My spouse received a call today from this resturant. Apparently the owner. She explained that she was not there the night we had this experience, but had read my review. She looked me up using Google and tracked down my spouses info and called him to find out what our problem was with her restaurant! After explaining to her our many issues(of which are clearly stated in my review) she claimed she has cameras with sound and will be reviewing them to comfirm. Still absolutely no compensation or sympathy for our poor experience. Only excuses. " Maybe you're just one of those unlucky guys." "We have 5 star ratings and work hard to get that." " Your expectations must be too high." This, to me, says that this "owner's" ONLY motive in contacting us was to have me remove the review. Sorry lady, but my review is honest and isn't going anywhere! And you certainly didn't do yourself any favors by tracking husband down and being too cowardly to talk to the actual person that made the review! We will still not be back, nor recommending this place.

Great food and customer service.
