OMG! Went here for the August long weekend last summer for the first time and first, the view of the city was incredible, the staff was friendly and polite and service was smooth. We ordered the lobster tasting menu where you eat a whole lobster throughout the coarse of your meal. The food was incredible! I didn't even find the price too expensive. This is the best restaurant I've been to in downtown Toronto. I would love to go back here.

I have never written a review before but in this case I felt that I had to. The atmosphere and views are nice but the food and prices are TERRIBLE. Ridiculously bad tasting salads and appetizers. A beet salad, really? My entree was tolerable. But my fiance's entree was almost inedible. Green looking fish... Both the taste and presentation were incredibly unappetizing. The portions were TINY. I was tricked into thinking that this was going to be a good eating experience. I have been to nearly every "upscale" restaurant in the Toronto area and I have NO idea how or why this place gets good reviews... PLEASE AVOID and be prepared to eat somewhere else afterwards.

Great food, even greater service. Polite, professional and friendly hostesses and wait staff. Exhaustive wine collection. While menu is limited, it's best to do a few things really well. Dessert was quite tasty. Also amazing view. Most people come here for the view, but were they a normal ground level it would be worth coming to.

DISGUSTING... Made a reservation for 8 for my wife’s birthday over a month ago. Requested a table by the window .. told them it was a special occasion. They said for 8 people by a window they could only accommodate at 8:30 pm... Fair enough.. we booked for 8:30 Reconfirmed the day of reminded them it was a special occasion. Reminded them of the table by window. Arrived at 8:15 to find they had given us the absolute worst table in the house and absolutely the farthest table from the window... Said if we were prepared to wait till people finish, maybe they could find us something.. how long?? An hour? Two hours? Breakfast the next morning? What is the point of spending $1500.00 for dinner at a restaurant that is on the 54 th floor and prides itself on the view when you cant even see the window, let alone out the window.. We left and went elsewhere.. DISGUSTING.

We had an amazing first experience together from start to finish. Service was impeccable and friendly. We brought our own bottle of wine and did the tasting menu. Each dish was unique and presentation artistic to go along with our amazing window seat. The only dish that wasn't as balanced as the others was the dessert which was a unique tarragon sorbet. In hindsight we should have mixed this and it would have been perfect also.
