Good place. Good staff. Good location. Food is fine... I like the decor and patrons.. I found that the servers are professionally-oriented but too stiff. This is a *bar* folks, smile a little... The basement vibe is also good. If you're nearby, a good choice... I wouldn't travel more than five minutes though... Lots of equally good options across the core. I don't like O&B places in general, but thankfully this one seemed less pretentious.

Unique menu. Great taste. Fresh vibe. Good value. A bit loud for business dinner but fun environment. Great service.

Great spot to see and be seen. Good selection of cocktails, decent wine list, eclectic appetizers that could be made into a meal tapas style. Beautiful setting with floor to ceiling windows and gorgeous central wrap around bar. Very loud, they could use some noise attenuation and small point, but plastic trees?! Restaurant was featured on Master Chef Canada episode.

Lunch started off well, drinks and appetizers came quickly, and the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. Four out of five mains arrived over an hour later, with the fifth main trailing in about 10 minutes after that, not so hot and fresh at all. The waiter apologized several times, but our buzz was killed and we just wanted to eat and get out of there.

We came in for dinner with recommendations from our friends who had dined here numerous times. It started off well enough and were seated immediately despite us showing up a little earlier for our reservation. The waitress was friendly enough and offered us water when we sat and told us she’d be right back. She never did. Even though she was attending to tables around us. We waited what felt like forever. It wasn’t until one of the managers, i think his name was Jarrod came by because he could sense our concern, and really turned our night around. We were seconds from just walking out, but he convinced us to stay and we were so glad that we did. He was professional and charming, he got us drinks right away, and delivered us a delicious tortilla and some empanadas to apologize for the lack of service and wait. He made sure we were extremely well taken care of the rest of the night, even finding time to stop and chat to us about our impending trip to Australia. Although our server eventually gave us service during our stay, it was Jarrod who really took care of us, so much so, we will give Leña another chance for sure. And to top it off, he delivered complimentary dessert with “safe travels” written on the plate. Such an incredibly nice touch. What could have been an incredibly disappointing dinner, it was turned around by a wonderful young man who knows customer service and how to please guests.
