My wife and I found this gem of a restaurant on our day trip to Goderich. The location, the food and the service were all excellent. I am a stickler for the cleanliness of such things as floors, washrooms, tables, and windows and your restaurant was "spotless". Thanks for the lovely lunch and well done!!!!

Went in for a mid afternoon lunch. Amazingly surprised at the quality of food! Best I’ve ever had!

Great setting and views. Would be a perfect place to eat outside in the spring or summer. Everything was great. The only reason I am giving a 4/5 is because the steak was a little over done and I wasn’t the only one having the issue. However I would definitely go back!

The food was a little overpriced. I payed 21$ for fish n chips on a lunch menu. Wasn't that good a piece of haddock... The service was a real buzz kill though. The waitress rolled her eyes at us when asking for more details on a dessert menu that she would only provide verbally. Our calamari was brought to another table next to us, who had just placed an order, while we had been waiting for 30 minutes. When the waitress realized this, she put it to us to make a choice on whether we wanted the calamari first or not... Took the plate of calamari back from the other table and stood berween us both pondering on what to do... The whole experience was awkward.

This place is horribly managed, we were visiting Goderich on the last long weekend and we were turned away by the hostess on Saturday for lunch who said the manager said they could not accommodate our group, we were 7 people, we said we would seat separately and we didn’t mind waiting as well but they would still not serve us. There was parties of 4, 2 and 3 waiting and they were all seated, we were so puzzled. We had two toddlers and we thought we were dressed appropriately but we will never know the reason why they turned us away. They really made us feel awful and changed our experience for the whole day. Suggestion to management, have a dress code sign since you can’t have a toddler behaviour sign. I hope the owner sees this post, if I owned this restaurant I would not be happy about this unless the owner is like you, a discriminatory unprofessional person.
