My husband and I stopped here for a late lunch on the way home from Algonquin Park today. We pass by it each time we go camping and have always wanted to try it as it looked very inviting from the outside. We were not disappointed. The service is wonderful. The staff are very attentive. I had a cup of their chowder and it was probably the best chowder I have ever had. Lots of seafood and the meal was piping hot and served with a garlic roll that melted in my mouth! I also had the Greek wrap with house chips. The Greek wrap had perfectly done chicken and the sauce was great and the wrap was fresh. The chips were slightly greasy for my liking. My husband had the fried chicken with fries and he just loved it. Not too greasy and very crispy. His meal was very hot as well, which he appreciated. We will definitely go again!

I live in area. Rio has better than average food and service. Fabulous seafood chowder. Burgers and sandwiches excellent. Whole menu is good. Lovely outdoor balcony overlooking river, very pleasant in summer months.

Great service and good food. Closed at 9pm on a Friday night which was early for our group. Could have stayed longer and had a few drinks after dinner.
