We went with a large group of adults and children for lunch on Good Friday. Glad we had reservations as the restaurant was busy. Service was good and food was delicious. Shared a bread plate and a few other apps. The General Tao cauliflower was a big hit. I had fish and chips as it was the Good Friday special. Fries were great with a nice flavouring. The fish was average. Would definitely go back for pizza!

Great place! Went last night with friends. Waiter was helpful and quick. Food was amazing and came out quickly. We had loaded fries, hummus, and a few pizzas. I ordered mine (meat mountain?) with no cheese which was not a problem and it was still SO GOOD. Would recommend to anyone!

Staff was great to me. They were patient with my questions. Served me quick and verify well. Food was awesome though I've never heard of fries with mushroom oil mayonnaise. Mmm! Pastries and desserts look awesome. I had the salty fudge caramel brownie and apple pie. 5 stars.

This place is a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. The food here is consistently excellent and their menu changes frequently. Large portions sizes and a great atmosphere. Make sure to make reservations or you might need to get take out-they always seem to be really busy. They all have a great ready to eat and take away section that include fresh baked loves of bread, treats or ingredients to make your own pizza!

Just excellent food and friendly service too. Seriously, the Brussel sprouts appetizer is one of the best appetizers I've had - yes even if not a big fan of them. Our daughter is a student at U of G so we've been at the Guelph location several times and wanted to try the Hamilton Bread Bar. It didn't disappoint though it's smaller size compared to Guelph did mean a 40 minute wait to get a table which we used to stroll around Locke street. Time well spent and our delicious meal was worth the wait. Highly recommended!
