Amazing!! ! My first time at David’s and it was spectacular. The braised beef short rib is to die for, specially on a cold cloudy “spring day” Everything was perfect from the service, food to the view. Considering we had a new waitress, wait our table- she was fabulous!!Thank you for a lovely lunch. I will definitely be back in the summer.

We arrived at 7 20 pm. It appeared as if there were several vacant tables and booths. Friends of ours ( a party of 6) arrived a few minutes after us and had just come from a long night at a funeral visitation. They asked for a table and were told no, the kitchen was overloaded and turned them away. Not long after that several other parties arrived, and were seated and served. Our server was wonderful, but literally running back and forth all night. They were understaffed and non compassionate to local customers who will not return. We live within walking distance and have always supported local businesses and we will not return.

Great food. Dress up or dress down. Good for groups. Great service. We come here annually with a group of friends and it never disappoints. Mid-price restaurant.

I have to edit my review because it was made during the previous ownership. We went in August for my parent's anniversary. The food was ok but the service was still outstanding; so I said nothing. We just finished what I would call a sub-par meal there. My Wife and I ordered lobster mac 'n 'cheese. While the base of this was 7/10 it was served in a soup cheese broth. I'm no longer impressed with the food and service was average or below. Much better when the previous owner was in charge.
