Beautifully decorated, friendly staff and very good brunch. Lovely spot close to the river. Glad we finally made it in! Avocado toast was awesome. Coffee is great.

I love this little spot. They have high quality foods for reasonable prices, always fresh. Great spot for lunch. They serve excellent coffees. Nice little patio for warmer weather. They are located directly across from the park and band stand so the views are not bad. Staff is polite and attentive, always happy and smiling ( especially Melissa). Also located across from the Gan Brewery, which is good for a few brews then head on over to Laverne's for lunch!! I would recommend this spot to anyone and definitely will be returning myself!! Bon apeti!!

Good teas and pastries, gluten free food included. They make their food from scratch. Nice place.

Formerly known as The Socialist Pig, this restaurant is still great for lunch. They completed renovations, and you can now sit on either side of the restaurant. They expanded their menu from their original offering and have made it their own. I had the brisket hash browns, which is topped with fried eggs. The brisket was tender with a flavorful barbecue sauce. It's slightly fatty, but I expect that from breakfast.

Terrific spot for a full meal or quick snack. We stopped in the town on for a bite to eat on Sunday around 1pm. We ordered from their brunch menu their toast options. One was the avocado almond and spicy honey toast served with scrambled eggs. The other was a mushroom and garlic toast with a fried egg. Both dishes were unique in flavour and delicious! Service was attentive we will come back.
