Wonderful tasting food. Portions are good, not great. You can't compare the quality of ingredients, finished product and portion sizes to the franchises. Service was good. Would recommend a friend.

As an Italian chef, I give this place 5 stars. I've eaten in lots of restaurants and I also cook for a living. These people know what they're doing in that kitchen. One of the best places I've eaten in York region. I tried their pizza and it's second to none. My wife had the home made pasta and she was very happy. If I have one thing to say as an Italian, is that I missed my wine but they tell me it's coming soon. I'm telling everyone I know to check this place out.

Food was definitely fantastic but a bit pricey. We had take out and I was disappointed to find there wasn't anything but the pasta - no side salad garnish or even a roll or piece of bread. Staff/owners weren't overly friendly, but were okay. Americana coffee was VERY strong. Decor is cozy. Woodstove smelled nice at first but the smoke became overpowering as we waited for our order. We wouldn't have been able to dine in.

Food is delicious but the portions are small. I was expecting more ravioli and pasta for the price I paid for each dish. The pizza was reasonable for the price and size. Another issue I have is that its not handicap or stroller friendly. There is technically a concrete ramp that leads to the entrance but they place large stone planters that block up the whole ramp so wheel chairs and strollers cant go up. I had to lift my baby stroller up their steps to get to their entrance which was inconvenient.

Had a special evening for their relaunch so the menu wasn't typical. However, the new creations they were trying were absolutely delicious! The pricing is fair for the labour they've put into their cooking - as they make a lot of their foods from scratch like their pasta. Very small restaurant, but great, friendly staff leaving you to enjoy your meals in peace. I recommend this restaurant to those wanting to treat themselves to a visual and tasteful "wow" for an Italian meal!
