My SO and I went for coffee and dessert on a cold night. Restaurant itself is cozy, and the service was good. My cappuccino and his iced cappuccino were fine, but nothing spectacular. He said his apple dessert was very good, but I got the brownie and ice cream, and the brownie was so hard I couldn't even get my spoon into it. Our server got it taken off our bill, but they didn't seem overly concerned that my dessert was so stale. It might have been nice to be offered something else in exchange.

I have had the same experience here as at other locations, which makes me wonder if there is a company issue with how they treat their staff. The staff have just always been inattentive, apathetic and hard to engage with in my personal experience. I always tip well regardless and will get a big smile when I leave, however that's the service you should be given before they know they are getting a generous tip. Lattes and food are good but nothing exciting. I think that their menu is too large and hard for the kitchen to sustain the quality of, which isn't their fault. I just wish the service was bettee because I really want to like this restaurant.

Came here with family on my birthday for desserts with family. Currently have different promotions for everyday of the week. It was later in the evening, (like 9ish) but felt safe to bring the kids without worrying about drunken "adults". Cakes and desserts were delicious.

Mmm, delicious food, great lunch sized portions, well priced. The food comes out looking exactly as shown on the menu. Very high quality and great taste.
