Beautiful view. Should have noticed the Wanted sign for a cook, wait staff, and dishwashers. We were quickly seated because no one was eating here, at noon on a Wednesday. After waiting 15 minutes for our order to be taken, we proceeded to wait another 40 minutes for our food (again, the restaurant was basically empty except for a few tables). The food was decent, but not worth waiting for as long as we did.

I've cottage in Dorset my whole life and it's probably the second time I've been into this restaurant. For good reason. Everything was overpriced and small portions, or mediocre food. I felt bad for the waitress who was clearly being stressed by the owner. Everyone that came in couldn't be seated cause she was busy doing everything at once. I wanted to tell them not to bother.

RUDE RUDE RUDE! Awful service! Owner was nasty to everyone in The lineup. It was as if she was annoyed that she had people come at all. We were told it wouldn't be long... Then we find out that they only had 3 people working... They only served in the deck and said they were just setting up tables for us ( a group of 4 and another group of 4 ahead of us). There were several people that came in by the end of it... There was only a couple people on the deck. Then she says that there is only a table for 3 so we were all out of luck. We found out by the end of it that we were literally waiting for people to finish eating and leave so they could use that table... But then would be waiting for the group ahead of us to eat and leave! The group ahead of us sat at a table by the front cash which annoyed the owner (they were just tired of waiting for an hour!) the owner the older woman came out several times with nasty remarks when no one had even said anything to her or anyone. She said in a loud mean voice that we were "all just going to have to wait!" And that "we are the only restaurant opened and we know it!". We left, and grabbed a sandwich from the convienience store accross the road. The group of 4 behind us was walking out as we were leaving the convienience store. Nasty TERRIBLE "service" if you want to call it that. They should either get a new manager/owner or just close. Terrible. Will make a point to never support this so called business. Rediculous. Don't waste your time.

We tried to get some ice cream. Had to get the waiter from the restaurant, however, the second we said "ice cream" he mentioned "X" with his arms, after that he said "you have to wait at 15mins", ok no problem. Since we drove here we can wait. While waiting I asked for the washroom, he told me to go across the street to the public washroom. I'm pretty sure all restaurants have washrooms and I was going to become a paying customer but he made it difficult. I mean if the waiter's gesture wasn't rude and allowed me to use the restaurant washroom, it would've been easy profit on ice cream. Great job!
