A beautiful dining room that’s always busy (so it's worth making a reservation in advance, although they have tables for walk ins too). I have been here for lunch and afternoon tea before and the service has always been fantastic. But coming here for a birthday breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day. We enjoyed a glass of English sparkling wine alongside smoked salmon, haggis & duck egg and a full English breakfast. The front-of-house staff are so warm and professional, despite having a constant stream of guests entering and exiting (they make an effort to greet and say farewell to each guest) they make it all seem so easy. Would highly recommend visiting, and I’m sure I’ll return very soon.

This establishment is absolutely beautiful. The building itself is an architectural dream. The food was for me hit and miss. I had Oysters which were very nice especially the French ones. However the Schnitzels were dry and difficult digest. The customer service was adequate. If you enjoy dining in a truly sophisticated environments then this is definitely the place for you

This is a must when visiting London. The afternoon tea is unbeatable, but the breakfast/brunch is just as delightful! I recommend the eggs Benedict. The English muffin is more of a light, flakey biscuit rather than a traditional English muffin which adds to the dish. The smoked salmon used incredible and the sauce completed it. I would also strongly recommend the banana bread. The vanilla bean butter they put on top takes banana bread to a whole new level. Make reservations ahead of time to avoid incredibly long wait times.

We loved this place so very much on our recent trip to London that we ate here 4 times during our 4 day stay! We had the pleasure of eating two dinners, one breakfast, and one lunch here and we were so pleased each time. Every single person from the servers, to the waitstaff, to the management, and especially the doormen (hi Lee and Ray!), were exceptional! The food was very well done and they even had many options for me for gluten free and dairy free choices. I will definitely be back and recommend everyone eat here when they visit London!

“Fabulous menu and lovely service in beautiful surroundings.” Small tables and squeezed against a wall, waiters polite and nice. The atmosphere was warm and I loved it, and the food was delicious. Apparently opened in the nineteen-teens as a palatial showroom for the Wolseley automobile, this lovely high-vaulted-ceiling marble eatery on Piccadilly serves solid English fare (nicely done) all day in a sort-of continental cafe fashion. Lively clientele, good service, ample portions well-prepared and well-served. it has a great location, near the Ritz, the Royal Academy, Royal Institution and Mayfair. You need to book even though the opening hours are long. Service is always good and the food is traditional English if there is such a thing. There is a bar at the front which is always busy .Located in a lovely old building on the south side of Piccadilly, in the block before The Ritz, heading west. The Wolseley exudes old world charm. Art deco lamps, dark wood and tiles abound. This is a place where a bloke can be comfortable and warm. It is a bit of a place to see and to be seen in.
