The place and ambiance are awesome, it gives you a chance to easily get rid of hustle and bustle of the city for a while. I had chicken Schnitzel here, it wasn’t the most delicious schnitzel I have ever had but it was really good. Staff was so friendly and lovely. In brief, I had a fantastic experience here and I will definitely Come back soon.

My friend and I came for lunch on a Sunday. The hostess/server that greeted us asked if we had a reservation and we told her that we did not. She was very frazzled and a customer walked by to ask her something so she got turned around when her attention was back on us. She asked us again if we had reservations and we told her no. We were starting to wondering if we should look for somewhere else to eat. The restaurant didn't seem busy but who knows. She finally got a couple of menus and led us to a table. The restaurant is quaint and we sat by a window with lots of light streaming in. It wasn't too long after we sat down that we had placed our order. The waitress that served our table seemed to be the only one on our side of the restaurant. My friend's salad came out fairly quick and we were given complimentary bread. A very long time had passed and we were still waiting for our meals. The table that had sat down after we did was almost done their meal. We asked the waitress and she said that our meals would be right out. Let me tell you that it took a very long time! The schnitzel was good but the service that we had received up until that point left us not exactly happy.

First visit to this restaurant!! This is a family owned business in a historic building. A lot of choices on the menu so you will definitely find one you want to try. Food was freshly made and it tasted good! Pork chop was so yummy and filling. Expect a little wait for the food. Reservation is recommended as it can get quite crowded. You can also walk around the house to check out their decorations! Good place for family and friends to get together. And servers were hospitable too. Would definitely come again!

Love this restaurant! Nothing else like it in the GTA. It's always getting more difficult to find good German and Austrian good. Atmosphere is bang on, this place has the patina of a real alpine lodge. Friendly staff make it feel like home, and you never leave hungry.

This place is awesome! Don't be fooled by the dated decor and Tom Jones playing over the speakers. This place has amazing food and the service is second to none. My family and I had a wonderful dinner. What a treat!
