Sea King Shark Fin is a great place to stop in for good food. The service is fantastic, and the food is always top quality. There is plenty of room, and there are private rooms for parties of size 10-20. The only complaint that I have heard is that some people like to see pictures of the meals in the menu, and that is absent here. Personally, for Chinese cuisine, I don't need them. For those who need help, the servers are always happy to assist and explain. My favorite time to go is in the late evening, after 9pm, during the week. There aren't many patrons, but there is no drop in service or quality.

The food here is delicious, it is very authentic. We had shrimp spring rolls for appetizers, very good. For the meal we had Beef with Chinese Broccoli, Yang Chow Fried Rice, and Assorted Meat and Vegetable Fried Noodles. Between 2 of us, it was more than enough for dinner and we had many leftovers for the next day. The service was also very good, everyone was friendly and helpful. The food came very quickly, but mind you it was a Wednesday evening around 7 and was not overly busy.

Quantity is a killer, here! OMG. There was more rice on my place than I'd eat in THREE meals put together. Quality of the food wasn't bad either. A li'l too bland, I'd say, though. I got the Shrimp Fried Rice and the Crab Soup (with sea foam). Enjoyed the latter like the crab-soup-fanatic that I am! All in all, a nice place to try out. The interiors aren't particularly classy, but they also have a concrete tank that forms a bottom to a wall cascade feature, where they house fish. They're of various species, including catfish and a beautiful red-scaled fish I couldn't name.

Love their dim sum which you can order throughout the week and they do the cart service on weekends. One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the city.

We moved to Ottawa in Mar 2017 from dt Toronto. We don't have many selections for good Chinese food where we live, but we did find this place by accident. It reminds me of Toronto's Chinese restaurants. The food is on point and they have dim-sum by cart. The service is fast and friendly. I'd would visit more often if I lived closer or I'd order from them if they offered delivery!
