This was my first time visiting here. One meat eater and one vegetarian. The vegetarian burger has a nice patty that's quite flavorful. Overall it had a mild flavor until jalapenos were added. With the right combination of toppings the burger is quite good. The house salad came with the standard poppy dressing. Its an oil and vinegar base with little flavor and was heavy. I recommend selecting a different dressing. The fried chicken burger was moist. It has a panko breading. I added bacon. The bacon was sliced thick but it was not crispy. I prefer my bacon crispy. The fries were very good though. The staff is very friendly and the ambiance is great. I will definitely come back.

Nice atmosphere, good service, lots of selection on the menu. The sweet potato fries are the best I've ever had, but a $5 upgrade fee is a little steep. The burger toppings and pretzel bun made the burger taste good, but the patty itself was absolutely flavourless. Overall, the restaurant is a bit expensive, but definitely give it a try. There are lots of interesting menu options!

After hearing such great things about Ground Burger Bar, my friends and I finally made it out to celebrate a birthday. The atmosphere was nice and we were seated at a table overlooking the water. However, after placing our order we waited almost an hour to get our food. After receiving our food we were so excited to eat only to find out that our orders were wrong. We notified the server immediately and she responded extremely defensively, refusing eye contact and walked away. Our food orders were eventually corrected with what seemed like a lot of reluctance and distaste from the wait staff. I think anyone can understand miscommunication happens between the customer, server and kitchen staff, but take the appropriate steps to fix the issue in a kind manner! The rudeness of the wait staff and the lack of friendliness greatly overshadows the quality of food. You can expect delicious burgers but less than stellar quality customer service.

This is my first time here and I thought that's one of the best burgers I had. I had the lamb burger and it was super tasty and I could tell that it was not processed. Although the food takes approximately half hour to 40 minutes to arrive it's worth the wait. I just think the add-ons are very expensive they charge $5 extra for sweet potato fries on $5 extra to upgrade to poutine. All in all it's a great place it looks like they have great outdoor seating the only problem is it was way too cold today to enjoy that. I would recommend this place, just be mindful of the prices as it can get quite expensive for a burger place.

Was really disappointed in the food and the service. $5 extra for sweet potatoes fries includes them being covered in parm and tasted awful. It simply comes down to $ to quality; if the burger was $9 I'd say it was acceptable, however, it was nowhere close to the quality I would expect with the $17 price tag. The service was mediocre at best and half way through our meal we were asked to move our vehicle as it was parked in an area of a soon to be (tomorrow's) farmer's market. This inconveniently was requested while we were eating our over-priced, overcooked burgers. We were offered deep fried Oreos for our inconvenience, which we declined. If I wanted to visit a hipster burger bar on Queen st in Toronto, I would go to Queen st Toronto.
