This place is amazing! I’ve been going for 6-7 years and it’s one of my favourite restaurants in Ottawa. I’ve been there with trans people and gay people and they have always been so welcoming. Also a great place if people are vegetarian, vegan or lactose intolerant! Got a picky teen or relative who’s vegetarian coming to visit you? This is a great place to bring them! I’ve never been disappointed :)

The food was really good! The atmosphere was nice! Everyone who worked there was really nice and very helpful with ordering. Generous portions. Had lots of left overs and they tasted even better the next day. Highly recommend this place. I will be going again soon.

Ceylonta seems to be a somewhat of a hidden gem among the many good options in the area. My experience has always been inviting and fulfilling. Their staff is knowledgeable, charming, and very accommodating, which makes navigating their expansive, rich menu much easier! (Especially as a vegan or vegetarian) Excellent food - the popadom is simply addictive. It's a lovely location, with a very clean, warm setting.

We have been coming here for years. Gluten free and vegan with some of the most caring owners. Last week when I brought a friend for the first time they washed the grill just make me one lentil creep that was gluten free. The food is outstanding and never disappoints!

Suitable for meat eaters and vegetarians. I was pleasantly surprised to see many vegan options marked on the menu. The service was exceptional and the food was plentiful and delicious. The owners/managers were extremely friendly and generous. They even gave my friend a ride home at the end of the evening. I will definately be back and will recommend to my plant based and meat eating friends as well.
