I need more stars to rate this restaurant! What a treat to enjoy the hospitality offered at Mamma Teresa's. This lovely home setting offers not only spectacular Italian dishes but the service is unsurpassed! If the waiters moved any faster they would need roller skates. My wife and I enjoyed dinner here on a Friday night. The restaurant was packed. Service by the smartly dressed waiters was the best we've seen in Canada. Attentive, accurate, polite and helpful. The food is the best Italian we've ever had. The pasta is supreme - cooked to perfection (I had Linguine with Shrimp, Smoked Salmon and Tuna, my wife Spaghetti with veal). A vast selection of dishes, nice choice of wines and beers. Plus dessert. Check out the Tiramisu - the best ever. We will definitely return on our next trip to Ottawa! Well done everyone!

Excellent authentic Italian. One of the very few fine dining restaurants that are open later (not sure why restaurants close so early in Ottawa). I have gone 3 times and each time I had great service and great food. No music was playing though, which made it too quiet at times.

I honestly think that this place is extremely overrated and so are the prices. Just because famous people go there, doesn’t mean that a plate of spaghetti should cost $30... it’s just pasta. The waiter was great and the staff is super friendly

I love Italian food! If you want to enjoy authentic Italian meals and wine, come to Mamma Teresa Ristorante, especially the one in Chelsea, Quebec. I have been there many times so I have the opportunity to try the best dishes and desserts.

A wonderful dining experience. The Fettuccine Alfredo and Gnocchi Gorgonzola were delicious. The desserts, all three of them - were decadent. Try their tartufo - surreal. Service was prompt and friendly. Will definitely return and recommend.
