Horrid little hotel. Very antiquated, depressing. Was put upstairs in a queen room. The room and bed looked clean, with fresh pressed sheets. The room itself was small, old furniture, no desk, depressing hallway. When booking they never mentioned I'd be upstairs, in a non-accessibility friendly area. I'm a fully abled individual, but feel that they should have asked me if this was an issue. We had dinner at the hotel as I was there for a wedding. The fish was very bland, the salads were just gross, and the beef/gravy were equally unappealing. I ended up driving back to Kitchener that night vs. staying there. The only nice thing about this place, and the reason it's getting two stars is the staff was actually pretty friendly. Nothing else about the place is really redeeming. The whole thing needs a major major amount of renovating. Oh and the cost was $118 tax included in mid May.

My wife and I love going to eat here. The servers are always very friendly and polite. The celery bread is so amazing and the fresh local fish are the best around. Definitely will be back.

My wife and I stayed here for an overnight late last summer. What a great experience! We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The location is to die for, very close to the beach and quaint downtown area, awesome local seafood restaurant on site (get the perch), and just...well, stature in this beachside port town. And then to discuss the hospitality, which was friendly, fun, and thankful for us being there to take it all in.

Very noisy hotel. Stayed on the first floor for 2 nights. Around 6am staff started coming in and out of the staff area in the hallway behind the guest rooms. The heavy door was slamming frequently. Went to the front desk to complain about the noise, the man said the hallway behind the rooms was not part of the hotel and therefore nothing could be done about it. Considering it costs over $100 per night to stay there but I get very little sleep, I wouldn't consider it a good place to stay.

Been visiting Port Dover since I was a child.i was excited to bring my boyfriend to experience the Erie Beach. We had an amazing time. Wings were great as always. He really enjoyed his fish and chips. I brought home perch for my parents 💓
