Great service: the staff kept the place open late, handled our large group expertly, and helped with our mobility issues. Food was delicious enough for us to come back again the next night. Very friendly and attentive service and high quality, homemade recipes. I look forward to our next visit.

We went there for Countylicious 2018. The food was fabulous, very fresh and large portions. The chocolate truffle with salted caramel sauce was my favourite, super rich chocolate flavour with a decent amount of sauce. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the service was very slow. Not surprising as there was only one server for the entire restaurant. But having said that we will certainly return to Pomodoro.

Slow service and food was average (except the poutine, it was pathetic and looked like a microwave meal) yet pricey

4.5/5 ⭐️ Excellent service, friendly atmosphere. Perch bite appetizer was very tasty, beef brisket rigatoni was excellent and the spaghetti and meatball dish was fantastic. The Nutella risotto dessert was great with the salted caramel, only the chocolate caramel cake was a little disappointing and didn’t match the lux home made feel of the rest of our meal. Definitely recommended if you’re in the area.

We went last night for 7 pm reservation during Countylicious. Got a drink around 7:45 after asking 2-3 times - it was the worst martini and Manhattan we've ever had. Wrote out our own order on a piece of paper and gave it to the waitress. Waited. Waited. Waited. Got our appetizer at around 8:30 pm. Waited. Waited. Waited. Asked for water and wine. Waited. Waited. Waited. Reminded them 2-3 times. Got our main course at 8:45 pm, a full 1.75 hours after arriving, after asking for timing about 3 times. Most of the people had already been served and left. The food was good - not great. But's here's the kicker: When we paid, i said to the waitress/manager that it really was not a great night and i understood that they were super busy but clearly understaffed. She couldn't have cared less. "i said i was sorry" she said - No she had not - not once. i fully expected to be comped something or at least acknowledgement that it was a sh'tshow. Nada. I will never be back which is a shame. So unnecessary.
